Blog » Technology will never replace the Real Estate Broker!

Real estate agents do things that only a human mind, human touch, understanding and empathy can achieve.

Agents have an understanding of the areas you are interested in. They know the neighborhoods and what they have to offer.

After talking to the buyer, they know things such as good schools are important to you, distance to activities you enjoy, if you like a rural setting but close to activities, if you prefer areas with nice trees and neighborhoods with landscaped yards, or prefer areas that are more maintenance free.

How about access to high-speed internet so you can work from home? It may be advertised as available, but is it really?

They have knowledge about the ins and outs of buying specific property, such as waterfront homes or beach front. What you need to know about owning in these areas?

When selling, the REALTOR knows your property and what will generate more activity and get it sold quickly. They know what is going on in your specific market.  They know what improvements will generate a higher sales price and which ones, do not.  They may already have someone looking for the type of home you are selling.

They have a team of service providers to help you before a sell or purchase and are there for you after the transaction.

Agents can leverage technology to build their business, be more efficient and better serve you but, they cannot be replaced by technology.  You need that human to help you through the maze of buying and selling in today’s market.
